Dr. Todd Dakers O.D.
Dr. Todd Dakers completed his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1982. He has worked with the Canadian Examiners of Optometry for many years (1995-2000) and is currently an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Ontario College of Optometrists. Dr. Dakers opened his current practice, Brampton Optometric Clinic in 1982 while also practising at Sherway Optometric in Etobicoke. He continued on to practise full time in his Brampton clinic in 1991, where he remains today.
Dr. Dakers has also been an active member of his community. He has coached Rep soccer for over a decade, plays hockey and curls competitively. He enjoys running cycling, cottage activities, snowmobiling, water sports and watching youth sports. Todd was a member of the COBRA Swim Club and a board member of the Brampton Downtown Business Association. He has also sponsored many community sports.
Dr. Jana McVeigh-Regier O.D.
Dr. Jana McVeigh-Regier completed a Bachelor of Science at McMaster University in 1995. Her undergraduate studies included courses on visual perception and neurophysiology, which inspired an interest in optometry. She then attended the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry, where she graduated with honours in 1999. After graduating from optometry, she began practicing in Brampton, where she remains today. Dr. McVeigh-Regier is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists and the Ontario College of Optometrists. She strives to give her patients a thorough, comprehensive eye examination in order to achieve and maintain optimal vision and eye health. She is licensed to prescribe ocular therapeutic pharmacological agents.
